<bR> <div> Rob (lead vocalist and guitar/rhythm guitar) has played in a variety of venues ranging from many outdoor fairs and festivals to numerous clubs and music halls.  He has also enjoyed opening the show for various acts over the years.  While in downtime from the music business he began to form a band (Modern Day Outlaws) and started to search for local musicians.  He met Bill Cleavenger (bass player/back up vocals) and his wife, Patty (lead and back up vocals) one Saturday evening after their performance at a country music hall.  Rob immediately knew that Bill was an original and was thrilled to learn that he was also a songwriter.  They soon teamed up to play music and write.  And after hearing Patty's dynamic vocals, Rob knew he wanted her to be a part of what was happening as well.  The third member to join the band was Randy Beall (drums).  He and Rob met at a country music venue where Randy was the house drummer.  Rob was impressed with his performance and the rest, as they say, is history.  The final member, Melvin Shiflett (lead guitar), and Rob had been acquainted in the music business for many years before he joined the Outlaws.  Melvin's wide array of guitar talent sent Rob on a quest to find the “right man for the job”.  This interesting collection of talent has attributed to the outstanding blend of vocal harmonies and the unique sound found within COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial Narrow" >is no doubt an original "Modern Day Outlaw" a talented musician with roots covering everything from bluegrass to southern rock. He is a singer/song writer who hails from Barbour county West Virginia and is well known throughout the area for his twelve string guitar and</FONT> <FONT SIZE="4" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial Narrow" >original music. </FONT></div> <div> Bill's wife, <FONT SIZE="4" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Algerian" >Patty</FONT> , is also a member of the MDO band. Although originally from southern WV, Patty lived in Texas and spent much of her time cruisin' sixth street in Austin during the Waylon & Willie era. Her vocal quality is inspiring and a reflection of her experience. Patty is an original adding her seasoned style to the MDO sound.... </div> <div> MDO Drummer<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Algerian" > </FONT><FONT SIZE="4" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Algerian" >Randy Beall</FONT>  is a very talented musician with incredible dynamic feel to accentuate music of all genres. He is also a WV native with an extensive musical background.  Randy has performed as house drummer for several country music shows & events including the Sage Brush Round-Up, The Country Music Association and Hall of Fame of West Virginia.</div> <div> Last but certainly not least is lead guitar man  <FONT SIZE="4" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Algerian" >Melvin Shiflett.  </FONT>Mel is an experienced guitarist with a back ground blanketing both country and rock.
